We invest in human, intellectual and financial capital in the communities surrounding our industrial and forestry units. For us, social responsibility is a management method based on an ethical and transparent relationship with our audiences and sustainable development in the society where we operate. Our practices are based on preserving environmental and cultural resources for future generations, respect for diversity and promoting the reduction of social imbalances.

Our projects are developed through surveys conducted in the communities to identify the requirements of each region. Overall, we encompass 40 Brazilian communities, with an annual investment of roughly 12 million Reals in projects divided among the following operational areas: income generation, education and environment.
