PEFC
The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) is a forest certification program that encompasses all the Supply Chain, ensuring good management practices and responsible environmental, social and ethical origin.

Suzano is committed to implementing and maintain the Chain of Custody (CoC), aiming to assure the traceability of products, from the production of raw material descendant the forests to the final consumer, ensuring a product from a responsibly sourced, socially fair, economically viable and environmentally appropriate.

Suzano has technical reports and certificates issued by Isega, certifying that the papers meet international requirements for food packaging. Paper production also meets the parameters of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration act (FDA) and BRF (German Federal Institute).
