Suzano Pulp and Paper recognized one of the Best Companies to Work For in Brazil

We were elected one of Best Companies to Work For in Brazil, according to the 2018 edition of the ranking published by the magazine VocêS/A!We achieved a score of 85 in the Happiness at Work Index and also were a major highlight in the survey of the category Career. This is the third year in which our company figures on the list of the country’s 150 best employers. The awards ceremony was held in São Paulo last night.

The guide’s general ranking is determined by the Happiness at Work Index, which is calculated based on the employees’ perception of the company and on the Human Resources policies and practices adopted by the companies analyzed. The publication also gives companies scores in 12 people management categories.

“In our opinion, processes such as development management, leadership training, network learning, collaborative recognition and proactivity are factors that have been expandingthroughout Suzano and contributedto this award, demonstrating our employees’satisfaction and happiness,” said Rosely Loiola Poletti, our People & Management Executive Manager. “This is an important recognition of the company’s commitment to its employees. They are the ones who help Suzano to become a better company that inspires pride and is part of the lives of millions of people around the world,” she added.

In the selection process, VocêS/Ajournalists visited previously selected companies in June and July and interviewed employees of different profiles, from senior executives to operational workers, as well as those working in the Human Resources area.

The survey has been conducted annually since 1996 by Você S/A, in partnership with the business school Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and its MBA in Human Resources Program, as well as the People Management Studies Program (Progep) and the Teaching and Learning Lab of the School of Economics, Business Administration and Accounting of the University of São Paulo (FEA – USP).
