Our company has won the 18th Valor 1000 Yearbook award given by Valor Econômico, the biggest economy, business and finance newspaper in Brazil. At an event held on Monday (Aug. 20) in São Paulo, we were the champions in the Pulp and Paper category and also won the main award of the evening:Empresa de Valor 2018 [Company of Value 2018].
FredericZoghaib Kachar, Managing Director of the newspaper, and Vera Brandimarte, Chief Editor, presented the main award to David Feffer,Chairman of our Board of Directors. Marcelo Bacci, our Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer, received the sector award.
The yearbook selects the 25 best companies from diverse sectors. The winners are chosen according to their net revenue and eight modern performance indicators, such as EBITDA and debt management. The Company of Value award, given to our company, crowns one of the sector winners as the company of the year.
